Petr Stacho’s Blue Idea is one of those works that seems to have emerged directly from a thought. Not a finished sentence, not a closed story, but a moment of becoming. A form that still carries movement. A colour with an energy of its own. Glass that appears to have paused for a moment somewhere between fluidity and solidity.
At first glance, the intense turquoise-blue colour immediately commands attention. It is bright, fresh and distinctly contemporary. In fused glass, blue acquires a depth that cannot be replicated by ordinary surface colouring. The colour is not simply “on the glass”; it exists within it.
